Through effort and determination, she has become widely known for her enthusiasm and effervescence. Obsessed with customer service she describes herself as a workaholic. Married for 25 years, Helen and her husband share an interest in property renovation. Somehow Helen still finds time to take her darling dog for a scamper on the beach.
With 27 years of experience, Dan has worked as a Director for a national estate agency and as Head of Agency for a London-based independent before co-founding DC Lane. Passionate about legislation, technology and innovation, he’s the architect behind many of the systems and ideas that shape the DC Lane Approach.
Having returned to the South West to enjoy its coastline and quality of life, Dan now lives in the South Hams where he enjoys sailing, wing foiling, paddleboarding, cycling and running. He completed the Plymouth Half Marathon in 1 hour 50 minutes in aid of Mind Plymouth and is always planning his next challenge.
Victor joined DC Lane with a background in sales and has quickly excelled in both sales and lettings. Originally from sunny Spain, he’s been in the UK for over a decade and brings energy, honesty, and a keen eye for design to his work.
Victor helps clients through every step of the process with clear communication, creative solutions, and a focus on getting deals done. Outside of work, he enjoys lifting weights, running, swimming, surfing, and exploring art and architecture—often with his red fox Labrador, Bella.

Oscar is regularly praised for his approach on viewings and with clients on the phone, adding a touch of his own special je ne sais quoi to every situation. He’s also a rather good impressionist, just ask him to sell a house in the style of Mr Trump…
Born and bred in Plymouth, Oscar knows the city like the back of his hand and is always happy to share his local knowledge, whether it’s the quickest route across town or the best places to call home.
Emily joined DC Lane in the summer of 2025 and is our main Lettings Negotiator, spending her days helping tenants find lovely homes and landlords secure great occupants across Plymouth and the surrounding area. A Fine Arts graduate from Plymouth University, Emily combines creativity with excellent people skills and a genuine passion for property. Friendly, approachable and highly organised, she works hard to make the lettings process as smooth as possible.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys swimming, previously worked as a swim teacher, and is proudly settling into her first owned home.
Sophie joined the DC Lane team in Summer 2021, bringing with her several years of experience in lettings and property management across Plymouth. Her commitment, determination and natural leadership quickly saw her progress through the ranks, and today she leads our lettings team as Head of Lettings.
Highly organised with an exceptional memory, Sophie thrives on solving problems and keeping every aspect of our lettings operation running smoothly. She is passionate about delivering a first-class service for landlords and tenants alike, ensuring every move is handled with care, efficiency and attention to detail.
A born-and-bred Plympton girl, Sophie recently got married and loves escaping into the woods for a long walk whenever she gets the chance.

Steven Macpherson joined DC Lane in September 2025 as our Property Manager and quickly became the go-to person for all things property. Exceptionally detail-oriented and with a knack for understanding how homes tick, Steve is often able to diagnose and solve maintenance issues before they become bigger problems.
Originally from Essex, he brings a practical, proactive approach and plenty of common sense to every challenge. Away from work, Steve is a passionate football fan, enjoys the buzz of city life, and was once ranked 33rd in the world at épée fencing – proving his eye for detail extends well beyond property.
With over 18 years of estate agency experience, Kathryn has worked across every aspect of the industry, including successfully managing her own branch. She believes great communication, honest advice and genuine care are the foundations of a successful move, taking pride in building lasting relationships with clients and making every property journey as smooth and stress-free as possible. Calm, approachable and always happy to help, Kathryn is committed to delivering the high level of service that DC Lane is known for.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, making the most of busy family life.
