Helen Somauroo


Helen loves property & people … after an award-winning 23 year career within corporate estate agency Helen boasts a talent for multi-tasking and superb people skills. Through effort and determination, she has become widely known for her enthusiasm and effervescence. Obsessed with customer service she describes herself as a workaholic. Married for 25 years, Helen and her husband share an interest in property renovation. Somehow Helen still finds time to take her darling dog for a scamper on the beach.

Dan Collier


With 20 years of experience, Dan has worked as a director for a national organisation and as Head of Agency for a London based independent. A self-confessed legislation and technology geek, he also loves attending a good viewing appointment; but you might get caught in a chat about economic factors and the market! Once married, Dan and his wife wanted to return to the South Coast to enjoy its natural beauty and quality of life. They have now lived in South Devon for 5 years with their Dachshund, Bonnie.

Amy Calder

operations manager

After achieving a first-class degree in business and accounting, Amy purchased her first house and really enjoyed the process, so in 2015 decided to pursue a career in estate agency. Amy loves to learn and has experience in sales and lettings, and property management and refurbishment. She is a member of the professional body NAEA and is working on further qualifications. Out of work, her life is mostly run by her dog Neal. He enjoys long walks and country pubs – luckily, Amy, her new little one and her husband do too!

Emily Cobb

Senior consultant

Emily joined the DC Lane team in March 2020 having worked within the sales and lettings market in Plymouth for 7 years as an award-winning estate agent. Emily has a strong belief that the personal touch makes a huge difference, shares the DC Lane ethos of delivering excellent customer service and has a reputation for fantastic communication alongside fast results! Married with a 3 year old, one one the way, 2 dogs and cat, talking houses is a great distraction from Peppa Pig!

Jaymie Anderson

office co-ordinator

Experienced from previous roles, Jaymie has been with the business since October 2020. As the backbone of our lettings team she can be found progressing just about anything given the chance. Jaymie’s not from round here, having started life in lovely West Sussex; but says the West Country is much nicer of course. Jaymie loves food quite a lot and really enjoys sampling the great local eateries in Plymouth. She is the only member of the team who doesn’t own a dog – but watch out, there is a plan afoot.

Sophie Fear

Sophie joined the team in Summer 2021 after 3 years of working within the lettings and property management industry in Plymouth. As Property Operations Manager, Sophie’s role is to ensure our management service is always second to none. With a wicked memory and an organised approach to life, she loves problem solving at work. Sophie is a born and bred Plympton girl and loves taking Diesel the Bulldog for a long walk around Plymbridge woods or the lovely Saltram Gardens.

Eliana Chan

Trainee Sales & Lettings Negotiator

Welcomed in October 2023, we are excited to introduce our newest member of the team! Having completed work experience in the industry, she was keen to pursue a career once leaving education. Eliana’s positive & friendly approach fits perfectly with her role in progressing buyer and tenant enquiries and showing lovely properties every day. In the future Eliana plans to start her first property development project within the Plymouth area. Outside of work she is a keen gym-goer and enjoys doggy cuddles in the evening with Milo the Shih-tzu.
