Following the announcement on Saturday 31st October 2020 from Government in relation to the 2nd lockdown, we have noted that the Minister for Housing has advised the property market will stay open.
Accordingly, we are keen to ensure our office also remains open unless we receive further guidance. We feel now is a good time to remind all visitors that we do have a Covid secure policy in place. All visitors should wait outside until invited in & should check in using the QR code posters. Face masks should be worn and you should not cross the hatched lines while in the office. Hand sanitiser is available and we encourage its use if handling keys or other shared items.
If circumstances do alter and our office is asked to close, you can be confident that our service levels will not be significantly impacted. Our modern systems allow seamless remote working, with email and phone cover remaining in place.
Having reviewed the details that have emerged this morning our current expectation is that all sales currently being progressed through conveyancers should continue with no significant change or delays and that new lettings may also proceed as planned.
In terms of marketing properties and conducting viewings, our previous guidance available on our website remains unchanged. Please contact our office to arrange a viewing of any property you are interested in.
Urgent maintenance matters will be dealt with as usual, however non-urgent procedures such as routine inspections may be delayed during this period.
